As entrepreneurs, the concept of an “MVP” transcends the award given to an elite athlete after dazzling the fans all year with extraordinary performances. In the business world, a minimum viable product is often the way that many great stories unfold, especially when it comes to technology or SaaS (software as a service). sEATz set out to launch its first iteration of service offering and technology, landing a whale of an opportunity at NRG Park, home of the Houston Texans NFL team.

Forward-thinking and strategic players like Chris Devore, General Manager at Aramark NRG Park, the NRG/Aramark/Texans conglomerate wanted to run a pilot program to test the theory of in-seat food and beverage delivery at its football games. Back in 2018, our organizations embarked on the pilot program in one endzone, the mezzanine level. Placing flyers in cupholders and wearing bright orange apparel, explaining the benefit and high-quality fan experience was a grassroots effort and before long, word of mouth began to spread. As the years progressed, our organizations added additional availability throughout the stadium to now offer stadium-wide in-seat food and beverage delivery and express pick-up options in 2021.

Becoming a household ideology following trailblazers like UberEats, Favor, and others, the Houston Texans and Aramark have been one of the first to put the fan first with the use of the sEATz in-seat food and beverage delivery service at games.
